At the very core of our Christian Experience is a certain deposit of an unexplainable Faith! We just know and believe some things to be true and transcendant. Even when we may not be able to provide what many would call emperical data to validate our claims, we just know and are persuaded by the verity of certain truths.
One of such truths is that the worlds were framed by the Word of God! We refuse the allure of the Big Bang Theory, absolute order never emerges from absolute chaos! We believe, that a Supreme, Intelligent and Personal Being who is Spaceless, Timeless and Immaterial created Space, Time and Matter with His Word! The Word of God is the eternal Midwife between the Invisible God and His Visible Possibilities!
Now that’s a huge claim!
You mean everything we see, taste, smell and feel in our 3 Dimensional world was created, fashioned and framed by The Word of God? Absolutely! Every single ounce of life existent on this realm and the multiple others in existence could never have been, without the Spoken Word.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. — Hebrews 11:3 KJV
In this Kingdom, we don’t understand to have Faith, it is through the portal of Faith that we arrive at the station of Understanding. What this means is that, If you are already insistent on fully understanding before you ever believe, you will never believe. Understanding comes from first believing. Hallelujah! Thank God,
God did not limit my ability to relate with Him to my understanding, else I could never draw near. Because without Faith, it’s impossible to please Him. If I had to understand, to have Faith, in order to please Him… I couldn’t please Him. Thank God Faith is the first portal to Understanding God, and the next portal, and the next and the next! From Faith to Faith! Only within the context of Faith is the Righteous Nature of God revealed and understood by recreated spirit men… and it’s always from Faith to Faith! Romans 1:16–17. Even our understanding must be rooted in Faith! Glory to God!
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, Where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, — Psalm 19:1-4 KJV
The Canon refers to the idea that everything in Creation expresses its profuse gratitude to God through effusive and relentless praise, even to the ends of the Earth. The passage also suggests that everything in Creation has both a Voice and an Ear. They came to be, in response to the Word and are sustained by the verbalisation of their Worship. It says there is no speech or language where their Voice is not Heard.
Everything has an ear!
This is why Peter couldn’t catch fish that fateful night. He couldn’t speak the language the fish understood. But the moment the Master of the Universe showed up and gave the command, all the fish in the Lake of Gennesaret struggled to become a worthy catch. They knew leaping into the nets signalled certain death. But they chose to obey in death, than to continue to ignore the call of the Master and “live.” There is nothing God made with His Word that can violate His Proceeding command!
But Man…
Man was made by both His Word and His Hands! Man was the only Creature God did more than speaking to fully design. He created Man in Gen 1 by speaking, but made him in Gen 2 by forming! Man therefore became a composite workmanship, made up of both Words and a Live Force of Divine Action!
This is why Faith for man is beyond just speaking, but a powerful blend of the Speaking Faith and the Doing Faith.
Apostle Paul would say, if we have the same spirit of Faith, we will speak and Apostle James will say, all that speaking Faith without works is dead. It’s not because either is self-sustaining, but to further establish their eternal union and co-dependence within the context of the human experience.
For Jesus to redeem this Man, Words had to become Flesh! Words alone couldn’t redeem man, because Words alone didn’t make man, a Body had to be prepared for that Word for there to be a possibility of Salvation for Man.
The Faith of Man must translate beyond mental ascent or a verbal lingua, it must become a Life we live out daily by demonstration. None of the heroes of Faith, who featured in Hebrews 11 became worthy examples by merely speaking Christianese… No!
When we read Hebrews 11, we read scores of bold and audacious actions birthed by Faith.
How Noah condemned the world and went about building an ark, how many subdued kingdoms, stopped the mouths of Lions, escaped the edge of the sword, waxed valiant in fight, were made strong in weakness and turned to flight the armies of aliens.
Friends, we have come into a season of Faith!
A season where those who are unwilling to live by Faith will become unfit to live the God life at all. A season where God will make a bold difference between those who serve Him and those who don’t! A season of marked difference between those who know their God with exploits to show for it and those who will only live to tell the tales of God’s true Champions.
It is a season of Faith!
Will you continue to say what you see or will you begin to say what you want to see?
Will you continue to negate what you have said, with actions that uproot your budding seeds of Faith?
Or will you in this season, become a Colossus of a Believer who is fully woven into an Integrated Unit of devastating potential to the kingdom of darkness by your relentless life of Faith?
It is a season of Faith!
The Lord is writing a new cannon of Faith Warriors and He has sent you the prestigious letter of invitation to feature in His collection. Will you burn the bridge of doubt and skepticism behind you as you plunge into the sea of eternal relevance? Or will you, in a bid to preserve your life, lose it?
It is a season of Faith! The inevitability of the Life of Faith has become evident!
Habakkuk 2:4b, Galatians 3:11b, Hebrews 10:38a, Romans 1:17b
The Just shall live by Faith!
Have a Faith filled week.
