Understand that God is the Only One that commands fruitfulness (1 Corinthians 3:6) but you have a role to play.

Now, in what areas should you grow?

1. Grow in Light: This means grow in the presence and intensity of light of God’s word (1 Peter 2:2). Understand who God is (Hebrews 11:6). Focus on him. That is what is important (Luke 10:42, Philippians 3:10, Psalms 27:4).
2. Grow in Humility: This speaks to your character; your ability to love people; your ability to forgive easily; and your ability to be selfless just like Joseph ( Genesis 41:33). Your rising is dependent on your humility.
