What a powerful word we had at the Tribe today! In the message titled “The Mystery of Uzziah”, Pastor Dami Oguntunde shared on how one’s strength if not properly appropriated will lead to destruction. The case study today was Uzziah, who was marvelously helped by God. He allowed his strength lead him to what he was not ordained for.
In today’s teachings here are some pointers that are worthy of note:
- Avoid hypergrace message. Don’t be a generation comfortable around sin. The devil try’s to attack your purity so that your faith can be weakened. Rm 15:4
- The Bible was written so you can learn. Every matriarch or patriarch in the Bible is either a mistake to be avoided or a model to be followed.
- Purity literally produces power.( Rm 12:1, Mal 3:3, 2 cor 6:14-18)
Beyond hearing the word, this session was followed by intense prayers.
