What a session we had today. With Pastor Dami Oguntunde sharing on the message he titled “The Feast of the Unleavened Bread.” In this message, there are depth to unpack in our Christian faith. We were reminded that Jesus will rather that we know him via revelation and not just through physical manipulation or demonstrations in the environment.
If we love God, we will do his commandments (John 14:15). Now, the Unleavened bread and it’s feast symbolize the moment of sincerity and truth (1 cor 5:8). Sin is the leaven. And we have the responsibility to purge ourselves.
Don’t deceive yourself. Come to God, come to hear and learn of Him with a sincere heart( Psm 139:23-25; Hebrews 10:26-29)
We also saw that we should do the word. Only by the word of God is how we know who we truly are (Hebrews 3:8-14; Hebrews 5:1-13; Psalms 119-130).
