One of the Scriptures that gave me boldness in life is what I’m about to share with you today;

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” — 1 John 3:8 KJV

First of all, what we see in this verse of Scripture is that Sin is the primary Work of the devil. If the devil can get you to make a habit of Sin, he has already got you working his work. The funny thing is that when you work for the devil by sinning, he rewards you with death. That’s the kind of boss he is!!

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” — Romans 6:23 KJV

And Jesus makes the bold declaration that His life’s purpose was such that destroyed the works of the devil, chief of which was Sin. Jesus actually came to destroy Sin and its foothold in the life of a Believer. That is, Jesus came so that Sin would never have legal access into our lives to cause damage and wreak havoc. One of the damages Sin causes is Sickness.

This is why Jesus often forgave the Sins of the sick before He could heal them.

“And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.” — Luke 5:20 KJV

At another time, He warned one of the men He had healed that he should sin no more, lest a greater sickness come upon him. Jesus often linked sickness with Sin. Apostle James also instructs that if anyone is sick, he should seek the prayers of the elders and that while they pray for his healing, if he has sinned, the sins will be forgiven. James 5:14–15. So it’s no surprise whatsoever that; The same sacrifice that dealt with Sin, dealt with Sickness.

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24 KJV

The same token of Sacrifice that dealt with Sin dealt with Sickness and Disease. It will be wrong of you to choose and pick what part you prefer out of the package Jesus made available for you. It’s not a buffet where you choose your preferred meal, it’s a cocktail, where that one glass contains all the dimensions of other flavours. The one glass of Salvation contains your Healing, your Emotional Stability, your Prosperity, your Success, and total well-being!

If all we had on earth was Sickness, Jesus would not have died a less gruesome death to rescue us from Sickness. This is why we should resist Sickness the same way we resist Sin. Men like Smith Wigglesworth caught a hold of this revelation and dealt a serious blow (literally) to Sickness wherever they found it. Listen friends, Sickness is the physical manifestation of a deeper spiritual condition. Sin leads to spiritual death, the same way unarrested Sickness leads to physical death. Both share the same essence in the spirit realm.

This is also why getting your nose into Scriptures and renewing your mind by the Word of God through Meditation (which is the Salvation of your Soul) also works like Medicine and begins to flush away every ounce of sickness out of your body.

“My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh.” — Proverbs 4:20‭-‬22 KJV

This is my antidote to Sickness! So there you have it… my trade secret!

Whenever I feel weak in my body, I spend time in God’s Word through Meditation for an extended period. I often leave that place of Meditation without the sickness or fever. I have learned to believe God’s Word literally. The Word of God says it can become health to my flesh; I simply believe it!

You can say, well, actually, sickness is caused by a pathogen transmitted via a virus, bacteria, or fungus, which then gained entrance into the bloodstream without the effective vetting of the white blood cells…

You see, that’s Biology or Medicine, and they are valid at a level of reality, but I am speaking Life here. The words I share here are Spirit and Life, and that’s how it ought to be received. You can choose to stick with staying responsive to viruses, Bacteria, and Fungi and the inefficiency of your Central Nervous System, or choose to make The Word of God your Divine Nervous System that vets whatever comes into your system. In approximately 6000 years of this earth being upheld by the Word of His Power, nothing has ever compromised its potency, evidenced by the daily rising of the Sun. He holds all things together by That Word. In the same vein, the type of virus that will gain entrance into my body with The Word of God on guard has not been created. And if it has been created, then it has a name, and God’s Word is greater than every name that is named!

This is the sure path to living healthy and, above all sicknesses and diseases, friends.

My encouragement to you today is to see what Christ has done for you and receive it fully and wholeheartedly. Don’t cherry-pick what you would rather have. Healing is children’s bread. It is something you ought to enjoy as a Divine Right and Inheritance. And while at it, renounce every hidden thing of dishonesty. Live soberly and righteously by the Power of God’s Grace. Don’t continue to live in Sin and expect Sickness to be far. Be Holy! Stay in The Word! Receive your Healing!!
