Isn’t it amazing to think that the same child you witnessed his birth as a Father, would someday carry you on his shoulders at some point in your life? It’s truly remarkable to think that seed, though vulnerable, naked and bare today if clothed and embraced by the warmth of the soil, could bring forth literally thousands and millions of the same kind tomorrow.

The genius of growth is completely mind-blowing! Looking at it one way, it does feel like growth, because it’s the exact same seed that became all these thousands and millions of fruits!! But when we look at the enormity of the fruits that the once vulnerable seed has now become, we find it difficult to merely call it growth, we often see what is akin to Transformation!

The same is true about everything God does with His Plans and Purposes in our lives. Anything that will ever grow in leaps and bounds to the ends of the earth, must of necessity begin with a good dose of anonymity and ignobility. More especially the things God is involved in. It almost feels like God is more excited about working with less than He is with more. A quick example is how Mathew 16 reminds us of how Jesus fed four thousand with seven loaves but fed five thousand with 5 loaves. Or the impact of thirty-three and a half years compared to nine hundred and sixty-nine. God sure seems to be capable of doing far more with far less. Why is this so?

Perhaps because He gets more glory from taking an absolute joke of life and turning it into the brightest of destinies; than from merely optimizing an already glory bound life. With the latter, man’s contribution may find its way into the credit page, so He prefers to work with the ignoble, foolish, weak and unseemly. Such gorgeous Grace! Remember how God insisted on reducing the number of the men with Gideon until it became ridiculous to think of victory on their own terms except by a divine hand!!

“And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.”- Judges 7:2 KJV

“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called : but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea , and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.” — 1 Corinthians 1:26‭-‬29 KJV

His Strategic Choice of who He uses is precisely influenced by His Glory expectation quotient on that life… it is to the end that no flesh glories in His presence. Wow, such a paradigm!

But aren’t you glad that God still chooses to use you despite the fact that you’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer?

This dimension of God that produces exponential results from little things ought to give us Wisdom when it comes to our alliance to things, especially when they’re still at their nascent stages. Do you despise days of little beginnings simply because of the littleness? Or you catch a revelation of what a dream might become and latch on to it way before it catches on.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” -Habakkuk 2:3 KJV

The Vision is set to speak for itself at an appointed time, but the Vision never begins its voyage into that appointed time, speaking. Often times at the beginning, the Vision needs to borrow the Voice of a Speaker, a Promoter, a Sponsor, a Visioneer, a Pioneer, a Carrier, a Believer… when the Vision has no Voice of itself. But make no mistake to despise a Voiceless Vision heralded by a Vocal Visioneer!

Too many times, God is simply seeking a human Voice to herald a God Vision. Will you be that Voice? Will you herald a Vision that everyone seems to be bypassing? Will you buy up 100% of its future valuation by buying 100% of its present valuation, even if it’s less than zero? A Vision at the beginning is the one demanding from you, it pretty much starts on a negative. Just like a newborn baby will begin life by demanding from you; it’s the one in need of your tending and cultivation, It has nothing to offer yet. But your commitment at this stage is all the investment you require to boldly show up when it’s time for harvest.

Today, the Prophetic Voice of instruction says to you, Wait for it; Speak for it; Endure with it; Give to it; Suffer for it; Stand for it; because even though it tarries… it will ultimately not tarry, it shall yet speak for itself. It may be a Relationship, Marriage, Business, Career, Product, Book, Project or Journey… When the Vision begins to speak for itself, too many people jump on it and begin to speak for it, but hey, it’s already too late. The commitment of the new Global Vision is solely focused on the Voice that spoke for it when it had no Voice for itself. Don’t envy a man who is now reaping from the Vision he once used to be the only one speaking for. Let it inspire you to find a Vision you can also lend your voice to.

Don’t stop speaking my friend, that Vision is coming to life; don’t stop loving your spouse, (s)he will soon emerge; don’t stop attending that Church, the Overflow is around the corner; by all means, don’t stop speaking because it’s only a matter of time, it shall yet speak for itself and it will not tarry!

Have a week Overflowing with Glory!!!
