In today’s teaching, Pastor Yinka spoke on “Good Grounds, Cover Ground,” emphasizing that the heart determines spiritual growth or decline.
She explained that we cannot consume ungodly content and expect to advance in faith. She reminded us that we each choose the kind of vessel we become, and that purification is a personal responsibility. God entrusts His assignments to separated vessels.
Pastor Yinka stressed that the believer’s mandate is not survival but impact, and that true spiritual maturity is seen in compassion, humility, and how we treat others.
She concluded by teaching that a good heart is cultivated by:
- Tilling the heart (uprooting wrong thoughts)
- Enriching it with God’s Word and right content
- Guarding it from corrupt influences, so God can count on us for His purposes.
