In today’s teaching, Pastor Dami spoke about the importance of knowing the character of God, because what you believe about God affects your faith. He explained that God is not a man, so we should not project our human weaknesses onto Him. Unlike a man who can lie or die, God can neither lie nor die, and whatever He says, He will surely do.
He also emphasized that God’s Word is Him, and that faith makes us subjects of God’s performance. Therefore, we should not doubt God’s character because of the fallen nature of man. Sometimes, laughter can even be a form of warfare, demonstrating confidence in God’s promises.
Finally, he reminded us that God has made an irrevocably costly decision in our favour, and this should strengthen our faith and trust in Him.
