There is a concept known as The Traveling Salesperson Problem (TSP). It is a classic optimization problem in computer science and operations research. It involves finding the shortest possible route that visits a set of cities exactly once and returns to the starting city.
Imagine a salesperson who needs to visit multiple cities. The goal is to determine the most efficient route (shortest distance or time) that ensures each city is visited only once, and the salesperson returns to their starting point.
The magnitude of the problem exponentially increases with every additional location, as that singular location creates a new set of combinations that must be assessed to determine the optimal route. Interestingly, no super computer ever created by man has been able to effectively solve the Traveling Salesperson Problem comprehensively beyond a limited amount of locations.
But then, there is the BumbleBee!
The BumbleBee has an innate capability to develop an optimal route in navigating among a wide range of flowers it intends to visit for pollination. It has within itself, a spatial memory that maps out all possible locations and solves for the shortest route that connects all dots.

When I think about how our Lord Jesus Christ was able to do the many things He did within a short three and a half year period: put that beside Apostle John’s commentary on the impossibility of documenting all that The Lord did in those few years… the only explanation is that of a supernatural intelligence that solves for the shortest route among a finite number of locations.
If the most impactful life that ever graced the face of the earth, needed not more than three and a half years to achieve the greatest feat ever recorded in human history, then we can believe that same God to optimize our lives for maximum impact.
The God who made the BumbleBee, sure knows how to maximize the life of anyone yielded unto Him. Yes, we have so many locations to visit on our destiny path, many souls to win for Jesus, countless lives to touch and bless for the Kingdom… but how do we touch all these lives within a lifetime? What is the shortest route among all these touch points?
“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight:” — Isaiah 45:2a KJV [2]
A straight line is the shortest distance between two points. The Lord has that intelligence of making crooked paths become straight. Left to you and your wisdom, you will inevitably hit crooked paths. But with the wisdom of God, you don’t have to have redundant trips down fruitless paths, unproductive friendships, toxic jobs, damaging relationships… your life doesn’t have to be a trail littered with puddles of regretful tears.
The condition for this alignment however is allowing God go before you. He doesn’t have the Traveling Salesperson’s Problem; the whole earth is The Lord’s. He never has to leave in order to arrive! He is everywhere at the same time and never needs to say, “I’m coming!” He knows where you ought to be, and the quickest route to get you there. The big question however is, will you let Him go before you? If you go before Him, you will hit the crooked paths, but when He goes before you, the crookedness disappears into straightness! Go before him and meet crooked people who will lie to you, betray you, abuse you and dishonour the grace you carry, but let Him go before you and watch Him usher you into prepared places, where you get to meet straight people, straight jobs, straight bosses (chakam)!
Joseph allowed God go before him, and see how quickly The Lord brought him into the fulfilment of his destiny! Isaac allowed God go before him and he reaped a hundred-fold! David allowed God go before him and he never lost a battle!
How do you let God go before you?
By depending on Him for your marching orders in the place of prayer! Don’t be forward, wait on Him. No assumptions, wait on Him. No inferences, just patience and absolute reliance on His leading. Let Him work on the crookedness and then bring you along into the lines that fall in pleasant places.
As you go into the week, The Lord goes before you, He causes His face to shine upon you, He brings you into a wealthy place and He enlarges the steps under you so that your feet do not slip, in Jesus Name!
